Okie Film Night: Killers of the Flower Moon
Circle Cinema,
10 S Lewis Ave,
Tulsa, OK 74104

Join us for this month’s Okie Film Night featuring Killers of the Flower Moon. Filmed in Oklahoma with strong support from the Osage Nation, the production played a major role in the growth of Oklahoma’s film industry and went on to become one of the most critically acclaimed films made in the state. It was nominated for 10 Oscars, including Best Picture, Director and Actress.
Directed by Martin Scorsese and based on David Grann’s best-selling book, Killers of the Flower Moon features an all-star cast including Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone, Robert De Niro, Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow and Jesse Plemons. The film tells the true story of the murders of Osage people after oil is discovered beneath their land in 1920s Oklahoma, leading the FBI to investigate what became known as the “Reign of Terror.”
